Why is the price of my item different in the marketplace compared to when I set it up in my store?

Sometimes, there can be confusion between the currency of the store and the currency of your own country and the settings involved.

Question: I’ve just added my product but when I view it live on the marketplace, it’s not showing the same price.

For example, here's the product setup page in my store:

Here's the product pricing on the live site:

Why are they different?

Answer: When you add products to the marketplace, you’re working in $US. The marketplace live site is showing your products in your local currency. So if your currency isn’t $US, the numbers won’t correlate. You can change the currency with the selector at the bottom of the page to $US, it will show the “correct” price:
